This is one of my favorite quotes from Marshall. You have to find your life perfect right now, the way it is, or you will always think that you will be happy when you have something else. Once you achieve that something else you still won't be happy, then you are going to need something different to be happy and so on. It is a horrible cycle, you need to find all of the good things in your life right now and be happy with your life the way it is now.
